Constitution Amendment Delegation Committee Lands in Chipata

The Technical Committee on the Constitution Amendment process has arrived in Chipata, Eastern Province, ahead of the upcoming consultation meetings.

The delegation landed safely at Chipata Airport aboard a sleek Zambia Air Force (ZAF) plane, marking the beginning of their crucial visit to the Province.

Delegation leader, Guess Nyirenda, revealed that the committee is scheduled to engage with Traditional Leaders, the Church, and Civil Society Organizations, among other stakeholders.

Eastern Province Permanent Secretary, Mr. Paul Benjamin Thole-Eng, welcomed the committee and confirmed to them that the province is ready to facilitate the consultative engagements with various stakeholders.
