65 districts join virtual public sittings for Constitutional Amendments

The Technical Committee on Constitutional Amendments has connected all the 65 districts from the first five provinces virtually, allowing members of the public to make submissions directly to the Committee.
Justice Minister, Hon. Princess Kasune announced this at a press briefing in Lusaka today.
Meanwhile, by press time, over 2600 members of the public had made their submissions through the Technical Committee website while 75 had submitted via email.
The committee is chaired by retired Supreme Court Judge Christopher Mushabati, with Dr. Landilani Banda as Vice Chairperson and Spokesperson.
The Committee is receiving submissions from the public in three ways:
- Physically at public sittings
- In writing
- Virtually (online)
